Iceberg Lake
Whistler, BC

We started the hike at 8am at the trailhead near Mountain View Dr in Whistler. Straight up elevation from the start until to the meadows at about the 8.5km mark. The trail is well maintained and marked. We passed through a few lookouts and a waterfall; and views of the fall colors.

Once we got to the meadows which is at 1500m elevation, the view began to open up. View of Rainbow Mountain and other peaks in the far distance. We took a quick break at the meadows to refuel before we began our last stretch to Iceberg Lake.

The last 600m of scrambling had some loose rocks but manageable. At the lake, the Iceberg glacier could be seen. We went down towards the lake and spent a good hour having lunch, went for a swim and indulging the views.

TRAIL & LAKE STATS:
Elevation gain: 1008m
Lake Elevation: 1630m high Distance: 21 km roundtrip
Level: Intermediate
Time: approx. 7 hours round trip
