Mount Rohr Hike

Gopi and I drove up the his Rav 4 about a km into the Cayoosh Creek FSR. From there, we parked, geared up and started the semi muddy trail.

Lots of bugs, and to avoid getting bitten, we kept moving. Some spots of the trail were a little overgrown but it was easy to navigate. 

In about 3 km in from where the FSR started, we made a right turn at the junction where the elevation started to climb. We reached Rohr Lake in about half hour and we continued on to our objective to the summit of Rohr.

The trail from the lake to the summit is quite steady, dry and well maintained. At the 6.5 km mark, we hit the boulder field and there were some patches of snow. We reached the summit at around noon. 360° views of surrounding nearby peaks of Mount Matier, Joffre Peak, Cayoosh Mountingand  Mount Marriot; a glimspe of Duffey Lake.
